What scuba diving certification programs do you offer?
We offer NAUI certification programs for beginners to advanced divers, including Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Specialty courses.
How long does it take to get certified?
What are the prerequisites for enrolling in a course?
Do you provide all the necessary diving equipment?
Yes, we provide all essential diving gear during your course. Personal items like masks, fins, and snorkel will be your responsibility. We can make recomendations on what to buy as well as provide discounts at a local dive shop.
Are there any additional costs involved in the certification process?
What is included in the Open Water Certification course?
The Open Water Certification course includes theory sessions, confined water (pool) training, and open water dives. You’ll learn essential scuba skills, dive theory, and safety procedures to dive up to 60ft (18 meters) safely.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer to become certified?
While you don’t need to be an expert swimmer, you do need to be comfortable in the water. Basic swimming skills are necessary, including treading water for 10 minutes and swimming 200 yards (or 300 yards with mask, fins, and snorkel).
What is the difference between Open Water and Advanced Open Water certification?
Open Water Certification allows you to dive to a depth of 60 feet. Advanced Open Water Certification lets you dive deeper (up to 130 feet) and includes five adventure dives, such as deep diving, navigation, and wreck diving.
What is Nitrox, and why should I get certified?
Nitrox is enriched air with a higher percentage of oxygen, which allows for longer dive times and reduced nitrogen absorption. This certification is ideal for divers who want to extend their bottom time and explore dive sites more fully.
What should I bring for my dive course?
For your course, you should bring a swimsuit, towel, and any personal dive gear you may have (such as mask, snorkel, fins). We also provide the necessary diving equipment during your training.
Is the rescue diver course required before taking the Divemaster course?
Yes, the Rescue Diver course is a prerequisite for the Divemaster course, as it helps you learn essential emergency management skills to handle potential diving incidents.
What happens if I need to reschedule my course?
We understand that life happens! Contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your course, and we will work with you to find an alternative date. Some courses may have rescheduling fees depending on circumstances.
